Setup: A "double backed" card is required to place at the top of the deck. If you don’t have one, you can make it by taping two normal cards together with double-sided tape. Their chosen card never actually goes into the middle of the deck. It stays on top the entire time. The “double back” card is just above the chosen card. The handling for this effect is very simple. You will only need to practice the “double-lift” move that makes it possible for their card to be shown at the top of the deck.
Pro Tips: Start by carefully showing all the face-up cards are different. You can also shuffle the cards facedown, keeping the “double back” card positioned at the top. We recommend using this between card tricks instead of a standalone effect. Any story can be told with this trick. An example would be Alice falling down the rabbit hole and finding her way home.
