All you need is a notepad, giant size binder clip, scissors, and pen. Write on the notepad: “Please write the name of any object in the universe.” Then draw a line near the bottom of the page. The placement of that line is very important for the trick to work.
Cut a rectangle shape into the top of the page. This will be your window for viewing the thought they wrote, hidden from the audience by the large binder clip that will cover it. The first time you fold up the notecard, sneak a peek thru the window before folding it two more times. Then hold it up to the light and remind the audience there’s no way to see anything written on the paper. You can reveal their random thought to them anyway you feel is the most dramatic and memorable.
