Setup: Cut many index cards in half and leave all of them blank except one. Place your forced choice paper with, “The special one,” into your pocket, out of sight. At the start of the trick, take out your forced folded notecard with the coin purse or small box you’re using. Hide it under the container as you pull it from your pocket. Dump all the billets on the table, but keep your forced one in your hand. Ask each audience member to take one and open it, realizing they all have blank papers. The spectator you are trying to celebrate will receive your switched billet with the note written on it.
Pro Tip: Practice the simple handling of switching their chosen billet with the forced one in your hands as shown when you are moving the container across your hands. Complete the hidden transfer while making eye contact with the specter and asking them a question as a distraction.
