This effect uses two dollar bills. You can borrow any bill from your audience as long as you’ve already prepared a matching value of bill by drawing sunglasses on the president’s head in advance (just above their eyebrows).
Use a thumb tip to hide the prepared bill. Ben shows you the special handling. A wide variety of thumb tips can be found at: magicmakersinc.com. And if you’re not comfortable using that method of switching the bills, there are many other ways to do it using change bags, envelopes, or magic prop boxes with secret compartments.
Pro Tip: It’s important to practice folding the bills in a matching way, so the spectator believes it’s the same bill you started with at the beginning of the trick.
You can tell the story of a president at the beach, wearing his shades. He’s there to watch his surfer buddy win a competition. But when a massive tidal wave starts to rise from the ocean, the president raises his sunglasses in shock to see his friend better. Thankfully, his friend survives the treacherous waters to surf another day.
