Impossible Jumping Band Secret
HotShot With Rubber Bands

Setup: All you need is two medium-sized rubber bands. This trick is really as easy as opening your hand. There are no special moves that take a long time to practice. We promise you will be taking this everywhere you go.
Loop the first rubber band around your index and middle fingers on one hand. Then twist another band around the tops of your fingers as shown. This will make it seem like there’s a barrier blocking the band underneath from jumping to the other side. But that obstacle is only an illusion. By closing your hand into a fist and opening it again, the lower band will still jump to the pinky side.
Pro Tip: We recommend using two different colored rubber bands. Practice this with a few different sizes to see what fits your hands best.
Ben Salinas has a lot more tricks to show you in this series: “Hotshot with Rubber Bands.” Challenge yourself by trying out new routines. Then, check out more effects like this from these courses: “Close-Up 21,” “Reza’s Favorite Tricks,” and “Hand Illusions.”
