Setup: You can use any regular deck of playing cards.The double-lift is picking up two cards with your thumb and index finger. The second card should be positioned face-up. While holding your double-lift, flip over the card on the top of the deck. Then simply slide over that card and release the second card you’re holding.

Pro Tip: When you release the bottom card from your grip, push both cards forward together. Then, only slide the top face-down card back toward you again. This will reveal the new card. The sliding motion is the most important part of this move. Practice it slowly first to get your movements smoother each time.
