One Step Over the Borderline Secret

When it comes to card tricks, this one is a total knockout. Trust us, you’ll want to bring it to your next show. All you need is a deck of cards, and 3 different sizes of envelopes so they fit inside each other. 1 large, 2 medium, and 4 mini envelopes. No other arts and crafts required.
Pro Tip: For this trick to work, you should remove the 10s, Jacks, Queens, Kings and Aces from the deck and place them near the top. Those five cards are the most easily recognizable. The spectator will be dealing face-up from the bottom. Stack the deck with alternating force card—then regular card, the way Marty Grams demonstrates. It’s easiest to remember odd numbers going up for the force cards. Example: 3, 5, 7, 9…repeated with other cards in-between as shown. Also, the envelopes cannot be examined after the trick. So, we advise you should put attention onto the deck again to get their mind away from envelopes. You could place the envelopes into a top hat or box with a slot as they are opened so no one can grab them off the table and look inside.
