Setup: This effect can be performed with any regular deck of cards. There’s no smoke or mirrors involved, either. Use the specific cards shown in the video for the setup. Make sure they are rotated to have the majority of their pips facing upward. For example, the top four spades on a six of spades card should be aimed toward the top. This way, you will easily be able to recognize when there’s a card that has been rotated the other direction. We recommend only doing this routine with a small pack of cards turned this way, not the entire deck setup in that style.

Pro Tip: Watch the orientation of the card carefully when they are memorizing it. If they vertically rotate the card for any reason, make sure to also rotate the small pack so their card is going in the opposite direction as the other cards.
