Camouflage Secret
2m 28s
To get started, you only need a regular deck of cards. Trust us, this is a very secretive card switch that many magicians don’t even know about. You can use any four-of-a-kind card group. Aces are a popular final pairing reveal, but you could use queens or kings if you want. Simon shows you how to put a natural break into the cards, so you can control which ones are on top. Once you remove the original four-of-a-kind group and place them on the table, you will have the four aces remaining on top of the deck. The audience assumes you will change the ace to match the other group of cards. But they won’t be expecting all of the cards to magically change into aces.
This effect can be a smooth way to transition into any next card trick that involves aces, as if you made them appear for this very purpose. Grow your card magic knowledge by learning the other tricks in this series: “Super Subtle Card Miracles.” Simon Lovell teaches many fascinating courses on this platform…including “Bar Tricks,” “Gambling Moves with Cards,” and “Second Dealing.”
