Here’s what you need to get started: a packet of gum, glue stick, several small envelopes, $100 bill, and a large card or book to hide the special gum underneath.

This trick is so incredible because the spectators actually do have a free choice and can even switch which envelope they are holding.
The best thing about this effect is there’s no difficult sleight of hand required.

When all the envelopes are opened, it will appear that everyone has received gum. Your only secret move is to pull the special gum pack with the money hidden inside against the bottom of your envelope before opening it. You can hide your prepared gum with a large playing card or small book.

Pro Tip: Make a special pocket to hide your money gum combo by gluing two large playing cards together on three sides. When it’s time to reveal what’s inside your envelope, pull out the wrapped bill from its hidden spot under your envelope.
