Setup: All you need is a regular deck of cards. There are no gimmicks involved. Place your royal card, a Queen of Hearts in this case…face-up on top of the deck. Then rotate the entire deck. The queen will now be face-down on the bottom.

Give the deck to the spectator and ask them to flip over any card in the middle of the deck behind their back. When they hand you the deck again, make a pinky break under their selected card and peek at the face-up corner while you rotate the deck. Now spread all the cards face-up on the table. Their chosen card will be the only face-down card. The rest is all in your personal presentation.

Pro Tip: You can tell the story of a queen who was also the only oracle in the kingdom. Everyone came to her with their questions. She would get vivid visions and give them direction toward their life’s purpose. One of her skills was predicting which card any volunteer would turn over in a deck behind their back.
